The Environment Agency is in charge of developing and ensuring environmental protection. In order to achieve this goal, it carries out activities to encourage and provide information on any effort aimed at protecting the environment; study and evaluate the impact of industrial, farming and urban activities on environmental health; carry out environmental research; oversee and ensure that legal provisions and regulations on the environment are applied.
Early 2014, we prepared together a high-level governmental workshop focusing on current bioenergy regulation issues. I was responsible for coordinating all pre-workshop activities such as agenda development and advising on venue details, assisting with workshop conduction and leading on all post-workshop tasks such as meeting notes and summaries.
