PANGEA promotes sustainable African bioenergy investment, policies, and production. As an organisation, they fulfil two roles: membership association and developmental campaigner. PANGEA acts as a unified voice for our diverse membership of European and African bioenergy companies; working to establish an enabling policy environment through lobbying, research, and regular events.
In 2012-2016, I was collaborating with this client and have been involved in numerous projects. I supported the client with online positioning, development of visual elements, website development for the main website, a members-only website, a stakeholder database for members to access contact information of relevant stakeholders, an internal knowledge collection database to store and share information, content development and optimization, seo measures, visual design for presentations and I advised on external means of communication. Print-related work responsibilities included the design and layout of factsheets on topics like agricultural development, sustainable energy access in Africa, renewable energy in Africa, indirect land-use change, non-transport use of biofuels, and technology transfer. I held responsibility for designing position papers that are used for influencing policy development, designed reports like on water management, and created templates for various publications to ensure visual consistency.
